patellar tendonitis
Also known as "Jumper's Knee", Patellar Tendonitis is involved in jumping sports such as basketball and volleyball. It is an overuse injury resulting from repetitive microtrauma to the patellar tendon.

- Pain on the side, front, below, or even behind the kneecap
- Pain gets worse during squatting, running, climbing stairs, and jumping
- Tenderness below the kneecap
- Tenderness in area of bony protrusion
- Inflammation
- Tearing or degeneration of tendon

- MRI of the knee

- Bracing
- R.I.C.E.
- Physical Therapist reccomended stretches and excersices
- Injection of plasma rich platelet
