achilles tendonitis
Caused by reptitive running, jumping, or landing many cause irritation or inflammation. Fibers have begun to break down or tendon fibers harden. Affects the insertion of the tendon at anytime. Reptitive stress to the tendon results in this. Also can be cause by tight calf muscles or muscle spurs in the heel bones.
